 Heavy-duty hydraulic high production horizontal bandsaw for accurate and economic

cutting of all materials from profiles to high tensile solids.

􀂾 Rigid, box type modular machine base, with integrated hydraulic oil and removable

coolant reservoirs, thus ensuring minimum down time on routine maintenance.

􀂾 Stiff, stress free bow frame made of cast iron, with (4) point guiding on pre-loaded

bearings. Frame tilted 3o to improve cutting cycle of all sections including profiles &

bundles. Dual columns ground and chrome plated.

􀂾 Blade guiding by double roller bearings and spring tensioned carbide guides.

Manual blade guide arm adjustment to suit width of section to be cut.

􀂾 Hydraulic blade tensioning and automatic tension relief when machine is stopped.

Automatic shutdown in case of blade breakage.

􀂾 Rotating 4" diameter double wire brush to clean the saw blade, driven at the same

speed as the blade. Adjusting screw for fine height setting.

􀂾 Induction hardened 18.5" diameter grooved band wheels to give maximum blade

adherence preventing wheel wear and blade slippage.

􀂾 Large chip trough for easy removal of chips. Capacity is 53 gallons.

􀂾 Hand held spray gun and required hoses to wash-off chips manually from machine

in area of machine vises, table tops and machine input roller table. Selector switch

for continuous or limited use mounted on operators control panel.

􀂾 All machine functions are controlled by a Siemens S7 Programmable Logic Controller

(PLC) with a BT-20 operators terminal for data entry, storage and diagnostic

display. Operators panel swivels for easy operation.

􀂾 Electronically controlled blade slip monitor.

􀂾 Infinitely variable hydraulic material clamping pressure with hardened clamping

jaws. Moveable jaw has a stroke of 16.3". Hydraulic vertical clamp mounted on

both sides of saw blade.

􀂾 Frequency controller drive motor – 5.4 HP. Total power approximately 9.4 HP.

Infinitely variable cutting speed of 66 - 460 FPM which is selected at operators

control panel.

􀂾 Automatic saw frame height positioning according to material diameter.

􀂾 Constant removal rate control by infinitely adjustable feed rate regulator (according

to numerical scale) and/or infinitely variable cutting pressure regulator (according to

symbols) to ensure maximum blade life and square cuts.

􀂾 Machine mounted on massive steel base capable of rotating the machine to any

angle between 45o left through 60o right via NC controls. (Total miter range of 105°)

Hydraulic clamping of the saw frame. Digital display of the cutting angle on

operators control panel.

􀂾 The hydraulically actuated moveable jaw is supplied as universal clamp and does

not require repositioning for angle changes. With a fixed datum line (fence) and

rotation point directly beneath the blade in line with the back fence, material

remains in same plane which eliminates need for additional material handling and

correction of measured length.

􀂾 Gripper feed unit driven by hydraulic motor mounted on 70.8"long input roller

conveyor with filler plates between rollers. Length measuring by encoder and NC

programming. Single stroke feed length of 15" - 47.2" depending on angle setting.

Multiple stroke to 32.8”. Output table is 11.8” long..

􀂾 Automatic angle setting (NC2) via keyboard, LCD display and DC terminal. Accuracy

with 0o 10'. Four (4) inputs are required for programming:

􀂾 NC - Programming up to 99 sets. These are programmable as fixed values and can

be recalled. Error message and faults are shown on terminal. Possible menus are:

main menu, work menu, cutting data menu, diagnostic menu, work time menu,

variable machine constant menu over code numbers, special function menu for

service personnel and PLC control status menu.

􀂾 Cutting area of saw is supplied with coolant from (16) gallon reservoir by electric

pump, via (2) nozzles.

􀂾 All required operating instructions, parts manual, hydraulic fluid, coolant and (1) bimetal

bandsaw blade, necessary for operation.
